Straight answers

Is it free to tailor my resume?

Your first tailored resume is free — the whole workflow, start to finish: upload, tailoring, a review of every change, and the ATS-friendly PDF and Word export. Free exports carry a small “Made with Apply Leaf” line in the page footer; Pro removes it.

What do I get when I pay?

Unlimited resume tailoring — a fresh version for every job you apply to — and an AI-written cover letter every time, instead of once. One resume becomes a tailored resume per posting, in about a minute each.

Is the cover letter written by AI?

Yes, and then it's checked. The model only ever sees your resume and the posting, and the draft it returns is tested against both in code: a number, a company, a school, a tool or a job title that appears in neither is a rejection, not a suggestion. Pro gets that on every letter. A free account gets 1, then a letter our deterministic writer builds out of your own resume lines and the posting's own requirements — a complete letter, not a preview. Both paths obey the same rule, which is why the paid one is the writer and not the honesty.

What happens if I cancel monthly?

You keep access until the period ends, then drop to Free. Your resumes stay yours. One click, one confirmation, done.

Why is lifetime so cheap?

Because you're likely a student, and job hunting is a season, not forever. We'd rather you get the job and tell a friend than pay a subscription you forget to cancel.
